So What's It All About?....
The Cote D'Azur and the departement it's situated in, Alpes Maritimes, attract many, many visitors because it's truly a lovely part of the world but if you're looking for the "real" France, La France Profonde, where a trip out to buy bread is a challenge then you've come to the wrong place; this here is La France Lite where you're likely to find that the boulanger will speak English and the guy ahead of you in the queue is from your home town.
There exist about a million guides on the market that are more informative on the history, geography and culture than this blog but the advantage I have is years of trailing guests round all the places worth photographing in this little corner.
Why an hour? Because sometimes that's all the time I have.
And why Opio? Because that's where I live and because it's probably the only time that Opio will be the centre of anyone's world.
